Tip 1 - Sleep. Your body needs at least 7-8 hours of sleep. When you are tired, or don't get enough sleep your body compensates by slowing down its metabolism. If you want to speed up your metabolism make sure you sleep enough.

Tip 2 - Never Skip a Meal. You should be eating 3-6 meals a day starting with breakfast. Breakfast kick starts your metabolism right after you wake up. Skipping meals only slows down your metabolism, which in turn slow down the amount of fat your body can burn.
